What is Reiki?
Rei = Universal / Ki = Energy
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that is non-invasive, non-manipulative and uses light touch.  This wonderful alternative healing modality works on the physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of our beings.  Reiki is safe and has no known contraindications so you can receive treatments in combination with traditional medicine.  This energy practice assists the body with its natural ability to heal itself.  The best way to find out if this energy is for you is to try it for yourself.
What is Shamanism?
Shamans are healers, advisers and warriors who can travel between this world and the spirit world.  Shamans use the sacred drum (or in some tribes sacred plant medicine) to travel to their power animals and spirit guides to receive answers to questions and guidance for specific issues.  These travels are called “Journeys” and can be performed for themselves or for others.  In addition to the journey, shamans also perform soul restorations, extractions and other forms of healing.
IET = Integrated Energy Therapy
IET was created by Reiki Master and Interfaith Minister Stevan Thayer.  This energy practice uses angelic energy or energy of a higher vibration to release negative patterns and brings the body into balance.  This healing modality also utilizes light touch and is great for emotional issues.
